Chiung Xiaoqiong Zhang is an award-winning, New York-based visual artist who works in motion graphics design, animation, graphic design, and illustration.
Chiung loves finding and including humorous scenes from daily life in her artwork. By combining vibrant colors with loose shapes, she creates cute, sweet, and silly characters and inserts them into funny and awkward situations. 3x3 International Illustration and Society of Illustrators awarded Chiung for her animations- Hmm? and Experiencing Embarrassment Is Normal. She also enjoys realizing her digital creations as riso-prints. She has sold these works at art book festivals such as MoCCA Arts Fest and Brooklyn Art Book Fair (BKABF). As co-founder of the brand PATOO, she designed over 200 original tattoo stickers and sold over a million pieces online.
